Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced QC Manager to lead and oversee quality control, laboratory operations, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing a standalone laboratory facility while ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will provide both strategic direction and active involvement in daily laboratory activities to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Lead and oversee all Quality Control activities for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

• Ensure laboratory compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, DOE, DOSH, and other regulatory requirements.

• Manage laboratory operations, including testing, equipment reliability, maintenance, troubleshooting, and new instrument implementation.

• Monitor data integrity, analytical accuracy, SPC performance, and quality compliance.

• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Drive Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) initiatives, including LEV, wastewater treatment, scheduled waste, and workplace safety programs.

• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and cost improvement initiatives.

• Lead, coach, and develop the QC team while ensuring effective collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and other stakeholders.

• Coordinate external laboratory testing, accreditation activities, and vendor support services.

• Provide hands-on operational support to ensure continuous and efficient laboratory operations.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QC, laboratory, or manufacturing environments.

• Good knowledge of ISO standards, laboratory operations, and SHE requirements.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
