Job Description

Production Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by monitoring equipment, maintaining optimal operating conditions, and ensuring production processes run efficiently and safely. This role involves equipment setup, troubleshooting, routine inspections, and adherence to standard operating procedures to meet production targets and quality standards. Technician works closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth shift transitions, accurate reporting, and a clean, organized work environment. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

• Monitor field equipment and instruments and to check the operation conditions of the responsible section are within control range.

• Equipment preparation for startup, shutdown and maintenance with the following standard operating procedure.

• Prepare and submit daily operation and patrol report to superior.

• Assist in troubleshooting if abnormality is found in operation.

• Assist to provide details information delivery to next shift.

• Do site housekeeping to ensure clean and tidy working environment.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or any related Engineering background.

• Read, speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• At least one year's experience in related manufacturing processes.

• Must be able to commit rotating shift hours (day/ night shift).
